In the last Painter program, it was called Water, but in the new one, they call it Blender. Either way, it does something I could NEVER do on a piece of cold press. It treats my watercolor layer as if it were oils. Look at how Bernie has changed and you'll see there's a painstaking little process here of smoothing out all the folds, shades, and tones so the pencil line begins to disappear. I later go back with watercolor layers of shading to define everything back that got lost in this step.
